The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is seeking proposals for the administration of an activity based Regional Transit On-Board Survey relating to the Atlanta Regional Activity-Based Travel Demand Forecasting Model and the creation of resultant data files. The major objective of the project is to develop a transit travel behavior database for the Atlanta Metropolitan Region that is designed to support periodic updates for ongoing testing of alternative future growth scenarios. The survey also provides a means to update and estimate various model components used in the ARC travel demand forecasting process, including mode choice modeling.
